MEDICO-LEGAL SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS |

| A) The service is provided exclusively for clients that their cases are processed in the Scottish courts and under the Scottish Law. B) Interview appointments take place in Glasgow city. C) Instructions are acknowledged within 1 week. D) Interview appointments are typically made within 1-2 weeks of instructions. E) The Medico-Legal Reports are usually issued within 1 week of the interview, and dispatched upon receiving the requested fees (see below). F) Fees: 1. An average fee for the Medico-legal report is £350.00 (excluding disbursements). 2. Fees for all other qualifying works (e.g. Correspondences, addendum/supplements, corrections etc) will be based on an hourly rate of £100.00 (excluding disbursements). 3. Additional costs for photography, x-ray, scans images (Details will be supplied upon request). 4. Staff working under my direction will be charged at an hourly rate, appropriate to their skills and experience (Details will be supplied upon request). 5. Attendance at court as a professional/expert witness will be on the basis of £400.00 per half day or £800.00 per full day. 6. Where I am instructed to prepare a Report or attend a court hearing, and for whatever reason those instructions are revoked, I do reserve the right to make a cancellation charge of 50% of above mentioned fees. 7. Travelling time will be charged at an hourly rate of £50.00 in addition to subsistence costs. 8. No VAT is applicable on the above mentioned fees. G) Payments: 1. Payment for Fees mentioned above in paragraphs (F.1), (F.2) and (F.3) are in advance and due on completion. The works are dispatched to the instructor only after receiving of the payment. 2. Payment for Fees mentioned above in paragraphs (F.4), (F.5), (F.6) and (F.7) are in arrears and that all accounts are to be settled within 90 days of the issue date of the invoice to the instructor. |
